Welcome to MARS, the Meeting and Reservation System for the College of Dentistry and College of Nursing. MARS displays each College’s academic room assignments and is used by individuals and groups to request space for meetings, events, and, by students, for booking the group study rooms in the Learning Commons. MARS provides availability information on classrooms, seminar rooms, and conference rooms at 433 First Avenue and the College of Dentistry’s Schwartz and Weissman buildings for faculty, staff and students.

Guidelines

Available space to request is determined by school affiliation, and academic space needs are given precedence. Requests to book space are reviewed and approved by designated staff at each College. Confirmations are sent to requestors via email. In order to maximize space utilization, specific policies have been established for some spaces; those policies can be found on room reservation pages.

  • Reservations for the 11th Floor Conference Center must be made through the Dean’s Office.
  • Events scheduled outside of normal work hours may involve additional costs for security, facilities, housekeeping, etc.
  • Reserved time should take into account set up and clean up time.
  • Reservations for conference rooms by Nursing student groups (ANSO, UNSO, DSO) must be made through the Office of Student Affairs.
  • Reservations for space by Dental student groups are reviewed by the Office of Student Affairs and Academic Support Services.
